I am aware of another firearms site with similar support for the pro-Putin narrative, in my opinion, there is more than just pro-Trump sentiment at work, an unhealthy susceptibility to conspiracy is also needed, along with significant confirmation bias, topped off with some useless (but hard to resist) contrarianism.
Neither you nor I can state with absolute certainty that this is not all some massive secret disinformation campaign, but the chances of that actually being true are miniscule. So small, that it is an irrational belief.
