Lots of them down low right now so it might be a good crop this year and it's an important food source for the Grizzly bears.

They will be out on those open slopes and basins rolling rocks all day.

That would be cool to see.

The bears around here are a bit better behaved, sometimes, and I think it might have something to do with that food source.

Typically early August is prime time and Franc's Peak is a hot spot but on the other side of the Greybull River the top end of Piney Creek might be better.
