When I was using my .25-06 AI a lot, I used 100 grain TSX's. Never had a problem. Tho most memorable shots: 1. caribou bull at 400 yards, busted rearmost right rib goin in, out through the chest, dropped immediately and I never saw so much blood come out of an animal. 2. Whitetail buck right around 200 pounds, almost dark, browsing in alfalfa 90 yards from my tree stand and facing me. He was twenty feet from a thick, cedar swamp and I didn't want him running in there that close to dark so I waited until the head went back down into the alfalfa and spined him about six inches from the base of his neck. Bullet went down through the spine, top of heart, between the lungs and out. He went straight down and never moved.
