I spent a week in a burn unit a long time ago and it isn't a pretty place to spend time. Several of the patients in the ward died while I was there and it isn't a pretty thing to witness , even from several rooms away... I was lucky, only one hand was severely burned and I was able to walk away in a week. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and I'm having a hard time seeing any humor in it...
Apparently Ms. Heche made a mistake and she is paying the price for it. It's just a shame the people in this country who deserve to pay a price like this aren't equally effected in some way....
