Fantastic rifles gents!

This rifle turned me on to the .308 back around 1990. It’s an early Model 700 Mountain rifle. The original walnut stock was broken at the wrist and the previous owner wrapped it with electrical tape and kept on rock’n.
I’ve had it in a few different stocks and decided it deserved a proper handle. So I ordered a McMillan that showed up yesterday.



This porkster was almost full throttle when the bullet caught up with him. I almost told my son- You’ll never hit him.
But… He rolled him like a boss!
