Not sure if a 10x scope is needed for a 150 yard maximum range. I'd be looking for something a bit lighter and trimmer. I have a 6x36 Leupold on my 1A 7x57 and I find it ideal. It may be half a smidgen short but in the field I never notice it. Just raise the rifle up, acquire the animal and fire. The 2.5-8x36 would be better in my opinion than the larger 3.5-10x40.
