Glock's, I dropped #11 caps years ago for musket caps. They never let me down. I had a 54 cal. TC Renegade and could not find a musket nipple to fit it. I forgot whose nipple I used but it had the same thread pattern and it was a tight fit.
Might check and see what the thread pattern is and try a different brand of nipple.
Your wire deal will work but looks like it would be hard to reload in a hurry.
