T,yes, on the butt-kicking. It was hot and dry this fall so all the game was in the canyon bottoms by water. All the ridgetops I like to hunt were barren. Coupled with moonlight, it was really terrible for a couple weeks. Hiked many miles and glassed till my eyes bled. LOL
Finally we got rain and deer dispersed. Bears disappeared but deer hunting became doable.
