I killed 3 coyotes within a half mile of each other with my suppressed 22-250. They never buggered one bit, actually they were still coming into the call. I've killed way more doubles with a can vs without.
I have shot several hundred PD's while using a can on my rifles. They just sit there looking around at their friends when they get shot....
Granted there still is a Crack, but not like a normal gun shot. The animals can't pinpoint where it comes from. I've actually had animals run towards me when I have missed...
The added weight is not an issue for me. If you want light wight, go the TI route with a carbon barrel and stock. [bleep] there are so many options now.
