NBC News is reporting and identifying the 28-year-old Nashville shooter as “Audrey Hale”, a biological female that identifies as “He/Him” on their LinkedIn
This person is biologically female, looks like a female, has a female name, but identifies as He/Him. Maybe she was just trying it on for size.
Initial reports are always wrong. NBC's now report Trans Female with a female name, i.e. the person started as a male and transitioned to female.
