Well, I received a rifle I used over 34 years ago for a birthday present. Its a 'sporterised' 1917 Enfield high standard barrel, chambered in caliber 30, year of 1906
I remember the excitement when I downed my first deer with that old Enfield....I gunna try to re-live that nostalgia with an elk and that rifle this year.... I never did connect with an elk with it back then...
