I've been using a Ruger M77 RSI in 243 for the past 35 years for most of my deer hunting and switch up between 7x57 and 6.5x55 in the same RSI configuration for elk and moose. I love carbine rifles and even more if they are dressed in full wood stocks. The Ruger RSI's are hard to beat for a handy little carbine.
