I have a Rem. 788 carbine in 7mm08. It’s not particularly light but it’s very handy and shoots like a laser .
No, she's not so much a lightweight but a really short handy rifle nonetheless. I hear guys say you have to shoot a bunch of 5 shot groups to prove a rifle's worth. This one will put the first two shots from a cold bore on a dime (or less) every time if I do my part. To me that's what makes a good hunting rifle.
