That sounds like a good idea. I've got some old underwear that might have that sort of likeness, I'd be willing to let a pair go for about $12,000. That's a pretty good deal when you consider they are somewhat less of a perishable item than the grilled cheese sandwich. I looked around in town here last night (small town with a few hardware stores that sell guns) I found 2 9422's, one slightly used in mint condition straight stock laminate for just over 300 & a new in box yellowboy 9422 for 475. That's not bad for a yellowboy & I know he's been sitting on it for a while so he would probably deal, doubt if he knows about the plan to discontinue.
