yep, they call the pistol grip stock the legacy now. The straight stock is the one that floats my boat which I believe they call the traditional. So did you get the new one with the winchester cowboy etched on the side of the reciever? I got a 22 mag in the yellowboy version straignt stock, it'll sit in the safe unfired with the tag hanging on it until my oldest boy is of age, then I will give it to him. When I say "of age" I mean of age to fully appreciate it for what it is, heck I could give it to him now at the age of 7, almost 8 & it would just be kept in the safe along with his single shot bolt action 22 that he learned to shoot with, but I want to wait until it brings more meaning to him, I'll know when he's ready, it might be when he's 10, maybe 11, maybe 25? I'll know when it's time though & then we'll see one happy kid for sure.
