The 222 is my favourite small change cartridge too. A traditional load of 20.0 gr of IMR4198 works in both my rifles, with a 50 grain bullet. For years I used Rem bulk 50s - PSPs. I make my own bullets and use FB 52 grain bullets as well with either Sierra or J4 jackets.

Yes, and for those who are not aware of it, Steve makes great .313 and .314 jacketed soft point hunting bullets. They turn those old 303 British rifles with sloppy bores into right fine shooters!
