What was the question again? Oh yeah, .243 and elk. Not the best choice, but sure gets it done. I like the 100 grain Hornady Flat base spire points the best. I lost count long ago how many critters, both big and small have fallen to that bullet. It always stays together, penetrates very well and really messes stuff up inside. Flinch
