After going over this I see you have made my point that exit pupil is irrelevant. Consider the following math....

Scope # one: 4.75X48
48 divided by 4.75=10.1 exit pupil

Scope # two: 4.75X40
40 divided by 4.75=8.42 exit pupil

Facts are hard to accept at times.
