The wood is NOT refinished. That just had a snake oil wipe down.
Someone put a copper spacer under each stud. Why????????? Who knows? They've been there forever. EASILY removed, but they will stay right where they are.
It's a .300 and lately I haven't paid much attention to calibers. To be honest, I didn't even look until you asked.
