So it looks like the starting point is a R700 Varmint in .243, some Redding .243AI dies, Lapua .243 brass, and a half dozen boxes of 105gr A-Max and HPBT. I'll probably throw an A5 and a Krieger on there at some point. Not sure which I'll do first, though.

So you're gonna plunk down what $600-800 for the rifle. Or more. Then send it to a smith to true it and punch it to 243AI ($500) Then throw on an A5 $500
