I personally would LOVE to see the Tea Party sponsor a candidate. Not on the republican ticket but on a Tea Party ticket...

It would get squashed. HARD.
If those who consider themselves to be ardent tea party types couldn't vote for RR to keep BB out of the office - there's no way they'd be able to settle on one Tea Party candidate to support and in enough numbers to win.
