Even though I am retired I could get into working in San Diego. Started this morning by escorting two lovely ladies to coffee at our favourite coffee shop a quarter of a block from the beach. As true NW guy I am a Starbucks gold card holder but this little shop that my son and daughter in law are part owners of is a great place to sit and visit. The tall guy next to the ladies owns and runs the place is is one of those guys you just like from the moment you first shake his hand.

The coffee is great there to and he made me my first real macchiato. Pretty darned good and enough caffeine to make me skip my afternoon nap.

Then it was off to lunch where I was forced to eat shrimp tacos again. It was not real hard to force me. wink

Next stop was the Racine & Laramie Tobacconist in old town, a shop that has been in business since 1868. Their in house brand is a great tasting and easy smoking cigar and at $2.50 a stick a real buy. They will be seeing a lot of me.

Back at home it was an hour of studying Spanish on line to see if my old brain has enough left to learn an new language.

Then it was time to get out the laptop for some project management scheduling. More brain stretching learning both the software and the work of scheduling a real construction project.
