To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine, and, those who don't and are always seen with a bottle of water in their hand.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day,

at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of
Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) – the same bacteria found in feces.



In other words, we could be consuming more than 1 kilo of poop annually.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or rum, whiskey or
other liquor).



This is because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering
and fermenting.



Remember:
Water = Poop

Wine = Health



Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,



Than to drink water and be full of [bleep].


Not sure if our politicians are overdosing on water or wine.

It is not exactly accurate to equate a liter of E.coli to a liter of poop. It is also in all probability wildly inaccurate to claim our drinking water is 1/365th E.coli. That's "parts per hundred." In reality, the concentration is parts per million. Or billion, perhaps. So the entire claim is bogus on its face. Our drinking water is perfectly safe. (It is also wildly exaggerated to call Bud Light beer, in my opinion.)

That said, I am an enthusiastic consumer of all things from the god Bacchus. One does not obviate the other. I am looking forward eagerly to my evening cocktail (tonight it'll be a Beefeaters Gimlet) and a bottle of Leinie's Summer Shandy with dinner.

I dont drink at all, water only, and am NOT full of (bleep), being pure as the wind driven snow.

Nevertheless, I stole this and sent it on to some friends who really need it.
