Sorry Bert, I just read your post. The 250's group just fine. I thought I saved my last target, but I must have thrown it out. I fired 5 shots last Friday afternoon at 75 meters. First an third shots were cuting one another, 1 inch above a 1 inch bullseye. 2nd and 4th shots were cutting one another about 1 inch above the other two. Windage was dead on so I left everything alone figuting I was all set out to 150 ot 175 yards. Once again, thet was over 47 grains of IMR 4227 powder with a MMI sabot. CCI 209 primers. O

In the 99E /.308 Win, it will be 150 Speer flat base with Win 748 and Win primers in Remington Cases.

W-W Super 300 Savage with CCI LRM primer, 150 grain Hornady Interlock SST sitting on top of 44.1 grains of RamShot Big Game with a moderate crimp.

Scored last week with my brand new (to me anyway) 1961 vintage 300 Savage 99DL using 150 gr. Win. PP atop W760 in Win brass and Win large rifle primer (this gun shoots the Winchester factory stuff consistently into 5 shot 1 MOA groups, thus the reloading recipe is just an attempt to reproduce the factory load).

I hope to blood my 1916 vintage 1899A .303 using 170 gr. Rem RN atop Reloder 15 in Buffalo Arms reformed Remington .30-40 brass.
