EVs only work economically in Norway because they have a cheap abundance of hydroelectric energy. which of course liberals in this country .also want to end Hydro-electric dams ,and tear down the dams to save the fish .Just like they want to get rid of coal ,natueral gas and nuclear reactors to produce electric

Norway leads the way in EV sales percentage wise with 87% of new sales being EVs.
The EU follows with 13% of new sales and the USA at 7% of new sales.
No mention was made of the actual numbers of vehicles per country.
WSJ, Vox Norwegians prefer an enclosed car rather then a bike in extremely cold weather. We probably have more roads in a small state then they have in their entire country. Just a Guess Wait until the EU mandates electric fishing boats, THAT'S when the Norwegians will revolt. I suspect, since they have over a thousand miles of coastline, that will get them fired up. It's probably easier to take a boat to their destination than drive someplace.

A country the size of Montana. With 5 times the population of Montana. But, less than 40% of the road miles of Montana... Norway would rank 41st in number of road miles if it were a U.S. state.

Let' not forget the real reason for the EV push. It is simply a way for the government to be able to control the distance any citizen is able to move in a given amount of time. Without the ability to travel, a people cannot rebel. All EV cars will have a function built into them that will allow the government to shut the vehicle down completely. I.e. Covid emergency lockdowns, ESG, etc. I am sure you have all seen the videos of Teslas, owned by people who aren't making payments, that will drive themselves to a waiting tow truck. EV's have nothing to do with efficiency, alternative energy, or anything else aside from government control.

The ENTIRE auto industry is facing collapse. Not just EVs. Nobody is buying $100,000 pickups or $85,000 cars. The recent strike settlement is going to make that even worse! New cars are already sitting unsold on dealer lots for upwards of 200 days. That's unsustainable. Just the interest the dealers pay to have them sitting there will bankrupt many dealerships. It's already happening. They are buying them in my neck of the woods and pulling a 30-40k sxs behind them.

It’s a fools errand with current battery technology. And without government handouts no one is going to buy unless forced. Yup... GM got suckered in full bore...
