If the jury will be instructed on them, they can be argued.

Also, can O'Mara argue to the jury against manslaughter and ag assault in his close And ... will they receive the instructions before the closing arguments?

"Yep, a powerful alliance has formed to destroy him, such to make an example against civilian armed self-defense. On his side, however, are the facts, the law, and hopefully a jury of his peers."
I've posted this before in another thread but I'll post it again.

If jury gets the case by 5 on Friday,it could well be less than 3 hours.

No but counsel will know what's going to be in the instructions before they argue.

At the moment GZ shot TM he had no choice. However, he did have a choice in the events leading up to the confrontation.
???
Is there any legal logic to that? I don't think so, unless somebody has made it against the law to form neighborhood watches...maybe only the Feds can watch your neighborhood. Personally. I see this as two seperate confrontations. Z ended the firat went he started to return to his vehicle. TReadmark initiated the second. With the sucker punch Just a quick question gitem_12, how is that a confrontation? Zimmerman never made contact with the thug TM until he (TM) punched GZ in the face. There was only 1 confrontation and it was created by the thug TM. " they". Have been saying that Z started the "confrontation". By getting out of his truck. Therefore starting all of this. I should have worded it better with "confrontation". My belief is that even had Z made contact with Martin that (1st) "comfrontation" ended when Z returned to his truck. Martin created the second by backtracking and attacking Z. Had ne not done that, the fatal conflict would have never happened. It is also my belief that this "second" confrontation shoukd have been brought into play more than it was in court. But i admit i havent wtched much of the trial maybe it was

If jury gets the case by 5 on Friday,it could well be less than 3 hours. From what was on Fox at noon here, there are 7 charges against GZ and I'm thinking the jury will have a verdict either late Monday or Tuesday.

The jury has been sequestered for 18 days now. If they get the case before 5 on Friday, they may ask the court to begin deliberating right away just to get the initial vote. They don't want to be there another full weekend in sequestration.
Practically, your thinking is more along the lines of likelihood.

I know one thing that POS Judge looks just like Chris Farley in drag .

This case, nor any other, should be on TV. Ever. It's nothing more than daytime entertainment for lawyer wanna be's and networks getting rich off the back of dead kid and his killer. The most pathetic of the wannabes is the POTUS and his clan of nimrods who are using this kid for their own gain as well. A lot of kids have been killed since this incident, yet nobody cares. Trevon's life is not worth more or less than any others. It's a tragedy for both sides and mockery of the justice system.
Nothing more than a modern day stoning under the guise of an advanced society.
America is above this nonsense...........

Mike...the lawyers will know what jury instructions will be submitted. They then close having that info. They wrap up and jury goes behind closed doors.

Is the jury instructed by the judge? That was my impression.
Or, does the jury retire with only the written instructions...or both?
From what I saw, I figured the attys were writing them to be approved by the judge?
Are jury instructions read? Before closings?

The Judge will ask how they wish to handle it. Since they're sequestered, many opt to get on with it so they can go home and not [bleep] their husbands for another 20 days.
