The DA offering the ex-boyfriend a plea deal if he would implicate Breonna Taylor probably didn't help the situation much. I believe he may have tried to make the same deal with the boyfriend. Apparently, he was trying to clear the officers by saying she was involved in the drug dealing and thus deserved to be shot. Turns out the charges against the boyfriend were dropped when it was determined that the police officer he was accused of shooting was actually shot by another police officer. Sounds like a big ole fashioned cluster [bleep].

The reason they moved to the cities was because they were being lynched in the rural areas by the white trash who had a need to feel superior to someone, anyone.

Back through part of the '80s and early '90s the place where I worked then hired several Vietnamese 'Boat People' refugees. All were hard, conscientious, dependable, friendly and cooperative workers. They were very frugal and within a few years they bought nice houses in good neighborhoods and had them mortgage free in just a few more years and bought nice but practical vehicles too. They kept their property and possessions well maintained and all made it a point to learn to speak English an adapt to our ways. Their kids excelled in academics all through school and on into college. Many blacks at work really didn't like them at all as their work ethics and earned personal accomplishments made them look bad.

Leitchfield is a very nice little town. I don't live far from there myself. If you have some time to spend, drop by Spencer's Gunshop and look around.
