Akitas are from Japan.

This is my first Akita and she is one year old.

She is turning into an exceptional dog,very smart, easy going and low drama.

They are known for being loyal guard dogs.

In Japan they have a statue of an Akita named Hachi, they are highly thought of there.

If you google Hachi you will get the whole story. They even made a movie about him, remarkable dog.
