With many of my rifles, there is a story behind it. It took almost two years to acquire it after I first spotted it.

Readers Digest Condensed Version (Making a long story short)........

My passion is perforating porkers, so when I came upon the Sauer Golden Boar, it was lust at first sight. The seller was asking more than I wanted to pay, I procrastinated, and in the mean time it got sold. Well fast forward about 6 months and I saw that rifle online for sale.

I inquired and was told that the buyer brought it back due to a defect in the wood and that it had been sent back to Sauer for repairs. I told them that I would like to buy it when it came back.

Close to 18 months later I got a call and was told it was back, and that I should come take a look.

Although it had never been fired, it was a used gun and they made me a deal I could not refuse.

ya!
