I looked for a while for a rifle by P O Ackley. I found this one this past summer and it is ready for the deer season opening day. It is built on my favorite action the Husqvarna 1600 with the steel floor plate. It is chambered for the 7mmX57. It has a checkered steel trapdoor but plate and engraved grip cap. The early Monti Carlo cheek piece design and steel but plate seem to enhance recoil...but it shoots great! One shot is all I ask and then it will be headed for the safe.
