Whites will last you two lifetimes..You can send them back for a refurbish and get'em back looking brand new...I have a friend that found a pair in the dump and they were curled up an rotten..As a joke he sent them back and they came back to him as new boots but it was the same pair..You can't beat them..
I don't wear them anymore as mostly they are a bit heavy for my use but they are the very best.
BTW the USFS firefighters are required to wear them for firefighting ore were a few years ago..
