I like Hornady products a lot but their SST is not a good one IMO. I had two (a 150gr .308, and 139gr .284) come apart after hitting just one rib. Neither bullet exited despite slow MVs (2550ish) and the deer were 25 and 40 yards away. Penetration was not good either as only one lung was taken out on both deer. I want two holes in whatever I shoot so I switched to the Interbond. A MUCH better bullet.
The SSTs are accurate but I still would not use them on anything bigger than a coyote.
