I don't care about blood shot meat on the shoulders, not much meat there anyway.

I shot the 130 SST in a 270 with 58g of R#22 and 60g of H4831; 154 sst in a 7 Mag with 63.0g of IMR 4350, Rem brass, 9 1/2 primer. The 154g proved to kill bucks DRT at 300-325 yds, and the 130g SST killed deer so dead, I wondered if there was a need for much more bullet or larger caliber...time will tell.

140 Will do extremely well for you, just remember not to focus on the horns...Hee Hee!
