We quit using them in my wife's .280 and my .257 AI because of the extensive amount of bloodshot meat that they produced. But with a hit in the boiler room, they do kill things dead right there.
I quit using them and that is one of the reasons for it. I never had a failure or problem, but didn't need all that blood shot meat. I now use 139gr Hornady SP interlocks.
