I would defintely not say low end, I would say an excellent scope for your $. The Nikon Buckmasters in 3-9x40 with a BDC reticle would be an excellent choice.
I know Nikon is running a special on all BDC scopes so your buddy could save even more money and get a scope that will last him a lifetime.
I'll do some checking on their promotion and get back to you. I plan on taking advantage of this deal too. Heck any money saved we can spend on hunting later right?
