guess I'm nostalgic, I liked 70's Chevy's, 90's Fords and 80-99 or so Tacos
I've been nosing around car dealerships when time allows (iows not often) to get a feel for stuff.
If I had to buy new right now, Tundra would get the nod, but I have to have an 8 ft. bed, growing up on a farm a truck with less than an 8 ft. bed just ain't a truck to me, sides we have a slide in o'head camper.
Pard that owns a gas station/repair shop says the quality of the Toyos still surpasses anything the big 3 put out.
I've got a 99 Taco that i bought used after my 87 got t-boned and totaled by a lady that forgot red light means stop.
It's a great lil truck, and i wouldn't trade my wife even for her 2007 Taco 4 door as it's a metal vs. plastic thing
also have a '02 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton HD ext. cab, it's the one I'll replace one of these days, it only has 95K miles and other than a fuel pump biting it, it's been a dang good truck.
can't see buyin G'ovt Motors again though.
