Actually thats a holdover from a bygone era. Remember in the early 70's when they said we were gonna go metric? I believed it and was just starting to reload at the time....

No...I kept them so Id have something to wear while shooting this rifle...
The impressed checkering is to die for!
Besides, the 'contrast stitching' on the leisure suits go well with the white line spacers on this rifle's stock!
