This is my load so use at your own risk. That said it works great in my rifle with no pressure signs.

I'm kissing at 2.153" in my rifle.....I don't consider my rifle to be throated inappropriately. All other bullets I've measured are in a normal range compared to the other 223's I've owned.

I started at .005" off and worked my way back. Accuracy suffered up close.

LBP -- If you don't mind me asking, for which bullet was your rifle throated?

Ingwe -- how far off are you loading them and how did yours measure compared to other bullets?

This rifle is my new NULA, Melvin cuts a longer but tight throat.
It wasn't cut for any particular bullet that said 2.290 is .005 off the lands.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.
