Ben, I found out years ago if you are going to shoot a bunny to eat with the .22-250 and virtually any bullet, you need to aim for the tip if his nose�NOT his head, just the nose.
Seems nose shots take care of the rest of the head, and aiming any farther back starts vaporizing tender vittles.
