The camera was in the door so I snapped the pic back at the truck. The skid mark is from draggin him.

We were back to back on a fence line. As I leaned back to whisper to my son I saw the head darting through the sage. Then the dog locked up. I whispered "LEFT! LEFT! LEFT!" and to mini-'flave's credit he swung the rifle and got on him quick. Dog turned and ran but kept looking back. I gave a quick bark and he froze. BANG! And that was that.
