Free speech doesn't meen there will be no consequences for what is said. It simply gives each person a right to express themselves. I for one think JV enjoyed his freedom of speech in a public environment frequented by SEALs in order to glorify himself. When it was time to suffer the consequences of his arrogance he didn't enjoy the public shame and reacted by trying to hide the egg on his face. It's not working out, and I for one hope he winds up owing Taya big time.
