He's not dumb, he's just an arrogant, narcissistic troll with paranoid delusions and certain compulsions to shove it up everyone's nose how special he is with superior intellect compared to everyone else. No matter what someone does or says, Larry has to come up with one better. His insecurities dictate that he's gotta somehow be the Alpha dog in any and every situation. And, he doesn't care what he has to say or do to get there. OCD on steroids...
As you can imagine, that doesn't play well in Peoria or here on the Fire. Frauds and posers get outed here on a regular basis. Most Fire contributors are serious and knowledgeable gun nuts and can smell a rotten egg from a distance.
