Does the gizmo work like a steel or does it remove metal? Maybe a little of both?
It removes metal. Lots of it.
I've found a few passes with the gizmo followed by a steel give you one helluvan edge in zero time.
And like Dwayne said you can just throw it in the dishwasher when you're done if using it to butcher.
