Interesting, I have a couple of LMT's and a couple of B5 stocks, had several more of each and mine weigh the same.
The first B5's were built to the wrong spec, not their fault, they built em like they were told. The next ones were so tight that you had to pound them on. Somewhere along the way, they got the size right, maybe they changed something else to cut weight? Regardless, LMT is my favorite and I believe they are made by KAC if I remember right.
