I paid $2.69 for regular last time, just over the line in VA. WV tacks on a pile of extra tax by comparison. Only WV gas I buy unless I'm really low is the no-ethanol I get for my mower and tiller. That stuff must have gold dust in it, based on price anyway.

Hell, gas is actually cheaper in the Peoples Republic of Maryland than here. Someone suggested WV taxes extra to make up for the income tax they don't get because wages statewide are low. Could be. Now that I'm retired, I don't burn much, so the price isn't a big deal for me. When I was driving 90 miles a day round trip to work, it was a big deal.
