It's simple, really. High prices for anything is good for the seller and bad for the buyer.

Prices here rose with the new gas tax rates a while back. And Utah says it wants even more (naturally). We've been at $3.15 but last night I saw one sign at $3.09 so maybe it's drifting down a few cents.

I rarely burn more than a tank a month in my car, just going fishing and golfing. My wife drives more, making a couple 100 mile roundtrips a week.
