Y'all are bitchin' about prices I wish we could see in our corner of Kommiefornia.

$3.99 a gal at the Chevron in town. $3.79 at the "cheap" no name convenience store pumps.

Good thing is a 5 mile drive outside of town and it's $3.49 a gal at the Res station. At 30.1 MPG in the wife's car we saved money today burning 1/3 gallon to get to the Res and back with a $0.50 difference in price.

And they give you a free fountain drink or cup of coffee with a gas purchase, so my ice tea was gratis!

PS, My brother vacationing in NC says $ 2.25- 2.50 where he is. Don't I wish.
