I've got a Rock Creek barreled 8mm mag that puts 200 gr Partitions into half inch groups at 100 yds, and I put three into 0.4 inch at 200 yds when verifying my zero for an elk hunt. I shot a 320" bull on that hunt at 450 yds.
I've killed several whitetails with it including my best, a 144" 9 pt. I've also taken 3 black bears with it including a 6 ft platinum blonde bear that got me an article in Bear Hunting magazine.
Cutting Edge bullets makes a 225 gr bullet that will work with the standard 1 in 10" twist and has a G1 BC of .640. I'm going to try them out when I have the time and money. https://cuttingedgebullets.com/323-225gr-single-feed-mth
