One of Craig Boddington's favorites. He used it to take his Mountain Nyala with it. I personally don't care for it and the caliber was/is hampered by poor bullet choices.
Yes I'm familiar with C B and his flavor for the Big 8.
I said in the OP "ATST it's fully capable of taking any game in North America. Craig Boddington is a good reference."
Today there are many more choices of bullets than in '78-'80.
