When I used my Eight, I pretty well stuck with the 220 Barnes, Sierras and the Hornadys for practice. I think I experimented with Swifts also but never hunted with them.


I had forgotten about that Hornady 8mm bullet. I wish I had tried those. I ‘think’
they would have been a decent bullet.

ATST they were not a Nosler, Swift, etc.

My preference for a N P is because you can drive it fast and be confident it
won’t explode.
